Librarians Unlimited is a discussion list for all librarians and library school students in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, regardless of type of library, that establishes a greater bond and sense of partnership among the members of the profession in this area.


Target audience:
 Librarians and library school students who live or work in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and other areas of north and east Texas
Focus of the list:
 A professional list (no jokes, etc., please) where we can share concerns and information
Topics for inclusion:
  • Announcements of events sponsored by your library, organization, or community, including continuing education and meeting announcements
  • Job openings
  • Requests for volunteers
  • Favorite websites, reference tools, etc.
  • Requests for ideas on a variety of library-related topics
  • Evaluations and/or recommendations of products, books, media, etc.

To subscribe, send the following message (without the quotation marks) to listserv@unt.edu: "subscribe libunlimited firstname lastname". Do NOT put anything in the Subject line. Be sure to save the Welcome message you receive because it will contain information about how to send messages, unsubscribe, etc.
