Greetings, colleagues~

At the HealthLINE meeting in Plano, the Nominating Committee was activated.  The duty of this committee is to prepare a slate of candidates for each open office.   The open offices are Chair-Elect and Secretary.  

The Chair-Elect position is a 3 year term/commitment.  The successful candidate serves as chair-elect in Jan. 2016, chair in 2017, and past-chair in 2018.  The Secretary position is a two year term (e.g. Jan. 2016 - Jan. 2018).  Please click on this link for a more thorough description of the 2 open offices and the nominating committee. Self nominations are encouraged and accepted. The deadline to submit nominations is this Friday, Sept. 04. 

Running for office is a wonderful way to become active in HealthLINE; you'll learn all the ins and outs of the organization.  It's a great opportunity to make an impact!  It also counts for AHIP points.
