Hello everyone!

 

The mentoring committee is looking for volunteers for mentors as well as committee members. We already have a few HealthLINE members seeking mentors and we'd like to pair them with a mentor as soon as possible but need your help. We need mentors at all levels and are currently trying to place someone with a librarian possessing managerial and director level experience.

 

Our community of librarians has so much knowledge and experience to share with each other. Mentoring is a rewarding venture and I ask that each of you consider volunteering to become a one. Typically mentorship is associated with new librarians, however, there will also be situations in which seasoned librarians will be looking for guidance. Participation as a mentor may also be a benefit to those members that need MLA AHIP points.
