Program
Dr. John Boyd will discuss the history of Parkland and UT Southwestern, from his 2015 book Parkland Hospital (Images of America). Other topics will include his perspective on trends in medicine, such as the explosive growth of non-doctor health care providers. John is an anesthesiologist who graduated from the UT Southwestern Medical School and completed his residency at Parkland.

DIRECTIONS 

Directions to the Library Admin Conference Room public entrance

1.  Enter the Florence Building (E building) using doors behind the flags on the campus entrance plaza
2. Take Immediate LEFT (do not enter Library) past the pictures of our Nobel winners
3. At medallions take a LEFT to the elevator bank, go to floor 3 on elevator
4. As you exit the elevator go diagonally across the foyer to your left through the marked doorway to our Health Sciences Digital Library & Learning Center
5. Take hallway to first right - take that hallway to the Library door (floor mat at doorway)
6. Enter and proceed to E3.314E.
