Due to the multiple challenges posed by COVID-19, the July HealthLINE meeting will be held online on Thursday, July 23rd. Once again the meeting will be hotest by UTSW. We will have our regular Business Meeting, but the Program will be innovative, interactive, and participatory.

Information about to connect to the online meeting was sent in an email to the HealthLINE Listserv. Follow-up emails will also be sent with the same information, if you did not receive the initial email.

We Need Your Help

Before the meeting, we are asking for EMAIL feedback from all HealthLINE Members about how we might envision virtual HealthLINE meetings moving forward:

• How should we format future online meetings?
• Should we have some kind of virtual meeting option for future meetings beyond COVID-19?
• Will libraries (other than UTSW) wish to volunteer to “host” meetings?
• Will host libraries solicit presenters for our online meetings or would we consider presenter suggestions or volunteers from the larger group membership?
• What program topics will be of interest to our members as we continue to provide library services under alternating levels of quarantine?
• Etc. Your thoughts…

Brook Amen will aggregate your feedback emails and create a list of “curated questions” to be utilized during the meeting.

At the meeting, Brook will distribute the questions to separate “virtual breakouts” for discussion. Members can join a discussion on a specific “curated question” topic. Time for these “breakout” discussions will be limited to approximately 10 minutes. At the conclusion of the multiple breakout discussions, each group will report back to the larger group membership.

Feedback from this effort will drive our future virtual meetings as we continue to meet the challenges presented by COVID-19.
