    Hello HealthLine Members!

It was wonderful seeing everyone in January. We are off to a great start this year and want to keep our momentum going. One of the many HealthLine strengths is the ability to network and visit with each other. With that in mind we are planning to host two other hybrid quarterly meetings. The hybrid option allows members to attend in-person and still benefits from the participation of those joining remotely.

Attached you will find a digital flier with all of our meeting dates and locations for this year. Special thanks to Morgan at UTA and Michele and UNTHSC for hosting our hybrid meeting in April and October.

Looking forward to a fruitful 2023!

    Best regards,
    Lorraine Sheldon

Cathy Schack was awarded the 2018 HealthLINE Librarian of the Year (LOTY) during the January 24, 2019 meeting held at the UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth.  I was honored that in my first act as the HealthLINE Chair, to present the LOTY plaque and read a few excerpts from the nomination form.  Based on the outstanding service that Cathy provides at the Charles C. Tandy Learning Resource Center for the Methodist Health System, she is very worthy recipient of the award.

On the night of July 29, 2017 between 10:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. the next morning, our HealthLINE Internet list will be moved to a new server running different software (the GNU Mailman list software).  You do not need to do anything to be moved to the new software; it will happen automatically.  When the conversion happens, you will receive a "Welcome to the HealthLINE mailing list" message.  The message makes it look like you just subscribed, but it really means that you have been moved to the new software.  Your welcome message will include a temporary password to your account and instructions on how to manage your account on this new software.

Please consult Mike's email for information about the new address and contact information for any questions.
